You can have a lot of fun pairing necklaces and outfits for the right look. Here are some suggestions to help you co-ordinate your favorite jewellery with your wardrobe.
Co-ordinating necklaces and with your favorite tops
Here’s some help for which length necklace works best with your neckline but it’s not a hard and fast rule, you can get away with a lot depending on the look you’re after.

Chokers work best when they’re not competing with a busy neckline and long hair. Wear them with short hair or put your hair up for the greatest effect.
Short to medium length necklaces that hang below the collarbone are great with strapless, open or plunging necklines.
Long necklaces are perfect with a v-neck or high neckline as they’re not competing with the neckline for attention.
More tips for wearing necklaces:
- Long necklaces work like a V-neck shirt in that they draw the eye down, lengthening the body, making you look taller, slimmer and more elegant.
- If you want to avoid drawing attention to your cleavage, don’t wear necklaces that end there, or draw the eye down to your bust. Wear shorter necklaces that fall on your chest above your cleavage.
- Chokers can be sexy and dramatic, and look great with a long neck.
